Samuel was tragically killed when he was driving along the A13 and he was hit head on by a drunk driver who was travelling on the wrong side of the carriageway in the fast lane between Pitsea and Five Bells.
After nearly 14 months that person has now pleaded guilty.
He has been sentenced to five years in prison - but he will only serve just over two years of that in prison and the other 2 1/2 years he will be released on licence. He was also banned from driving for 5 years.
This is totally wrong - how can someone take a life and only go to prison for a couple of years?
Samuel was the best Son and Brother anyone could want, and he is missed so very much.
Cant believe its been 5 years today mate, i can still rember what we was doing this time 5 years ago, and if i rember we was cleaning and polishing our cars this weather, must have been mad, well will see you sumday mate rest piecefully. xxxxxx

hey i was best friends with sam when i was little, went to his birthday parties and he came to mine.... i was in spain when i got a call about it... massive shock and upset too.... good bloke loved the cars and will be missed! rip dude! ant

Sam it is four years today since we lost you and it still hurts as much as the day you were taken from us. We so miss you. Christmas is not the same any more and we get to hate this time of year. In fact life is not the same any more without you.
